Terms and conditions
Tradesite · Version 1 November 2026
These terms apply to everything you get from Tradesite: the free trial, the website subscription, domain names and our other services (such as custom work, IT support and installation work). We have written them as clearly as we can. If you have a question, just get in touch.

1. Definitions
- Tradesite, we, us: the business listed below under 'Who we are'.
- Customer, you: anyone who enters into an agreement with us, as a business or as a private person.
- Consumer: a customer who is not acting for a business or profession.
- Platform: our software that runs the websites, the customer dashboard and related features.
- Website: the customer's website running on the platform.
- Dashboard: the secure environment where you manage your website, calendar, invoices and other parts through a personal link.
- Subscription: paid use of the platform per month or per year.
- Other services: work not included in the subscription, such as a custom website, IT services, repair and installation, technical drawing and design.
2. Scope
These terms apply to all our offers, quotes and agreements. The customer's own terms do not apply unless we have agreed so in writing.
You can read, save and print these terms before entering into the agreement. When you sign up and when you pay, we ask you to confirm with a tick box that you agree to them.
If a provision is invalid, the other provisions still apply. We will then replace the invalid provision with one that comes as close as possible to its purpose.
3. How the agreement is formed
By filling in the sign-up form and agreeing to these terms, you start a free trial. The subscription only starts when you make the first payment.
For other services we first send a quote or order confirmation. The agreement is formed when you accept it (also by email, WhatsApp or in the dashboard). A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
Obvious mistakes in an offer or price (such as a typo) do not bind us.
4. Free trial
A new website may run free of charge for 14 days on a Tradesite subdomain. You do not need to provide payment details. The trial does not turn into a paid subscription automatically.
If you do not pay after the trial, visitors see a notice that the website will be available again soon. Your dashboard stays open and your content is kept. If we do not hear from you for more than 90 days, we may delete the website and its content; we will tell you beforehand if we have your contact details.
5. Subscription, prices and payment
Current prices are shown on our website. We always state clearly whether a price includes or excludes VAT.
You choose a package (Start, Pro or Compleet) per month or per year, optionally with options such as extra languages. What each package includes is shown on our website and in your dashboard. Paid features only work after payment; during the trial you see a preview of them. If you choose a bigger package or more options during a running period, you only pay the difference for the remaining time; the end date stays the same. You choose a smaller package when you renew.
You pay the subscription in advance, per month or per year, by iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card or a payment request. We never debit your account automatically.
A new period starts on the day of payment, or right after the current paid period if you renew in time. The subscription does not renew automatically. If you do not renew, the website stays visible for 7 more days and then goes offline (see article 4 for what happens to your content).
We may change prices. We announce a new price at least 30 days in advance and it only applies from the next period you pay for after that. A period you have already paid for does not change.
Invoices for other services are due within 14 days unless agreed otherwise. If a business customer pays late, we may charge the statutory commercial interest and reasonable collection costs; for consumers the statutory rules apply, starting with a free reminder giving 14 days to pay.
6. Domain names
We only register a domain name after you have paid for it. Until it is registered, we cannot guarantee that a name is still available.
You become the holder (registrant) of the domain name and are responsible for correct holder details. We register through an accredited registrar. The rules of the registry for the extension also apply, for example SIDN for .nl and EURid for .eu.
The price of a domain name is shown when you order and applies per year. With a yearly subscription, a domain name ending in .nl, .eu or .be is included for as long as you renew the yearly subscription. With a monthly subscription and for other extensions, you pay for the domain name separately, per year. Renewal only happens after payment; if you do not pay before the expiry date, the domain name may lapse.
If you want to move your domain name to another provider, we give you the transfer code free of charge on request. Costs for a domain name that has already been registered are not refunded, as far as the law allows.
7. What you can expect from us
We do our best to make the platform and your website work well, securely and fast (best-efforts obligation). We cannot guarantee that everything always works without interruption; maintenance or outages at our end or at our suppliers (such as hosting) may prevent this.
We make regular backups. Please do keep your own copy of important texts, photos and documents.
We may improve the platform and change features, as long as the core of what you get (a working website with a dashboard) remains.
We never ask for your passwords. The dashboard opens through a personal link; keep it secret. If the link has reached the wrong person, ask for a new one; the old one then stops working immediately.
8. Your responsibility for content
You are responsible for everything on your website, business cards, invoices and other documents, even if we or an AI tool wrote, translated or designed it for you. Please check the content before you publish or send it.
You make sure the content is correct and allowed. This means, among other things:
- you only use texts, photos and logos you have the rights to;
- you only post genuine reviews from real customers;
- you state correct business details, prices and terms;
- you post nothing unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or offensive, and you do not use the platform for spam or fraud.
If we receive a well-founded complaint or see content that is clearly not allowed, we may remove it or take the website offline temporarily. We will let you know and, if it is not urgent, give you the chance to fix it yourself first.
If others hold us liable for content you have posted, you indemnify us, unless the damage is caused by our own fault.
9. Personal data
How we handle your own data is described in our privacy statement.
Visitors to your website can leave details through forms (for example a request, appointment or booking). For that data you are the controller and we are the processor. This article serves as the data processing agreement. We:
- only process the data to run your website and dashboard and according to your instructions;
- keep it confidential and protect it appropriately;
- only use sub-processors needed for the service (such as Cloudflare for hosting and storage) that offer appropriate safeguards; we give you an overview on request;
- help you with requests from data subjects and report a data breach affecting your data without undue delay;
- delete the data after the agreement ends (see article 14), unless the law requires us to keep it.
For each website we automatically generate a privacy statement based on your details. You remain responsible for making sure it fits your situation.
10. Intellectual property
Your texts, photos and logos remain yours. You allow us to use them as far as needed to provide your website and our services, for example to store, display, resize and translate them.
The platform, the software, the templates and our own designs remain ours. You get a right of use during the subscription.
A logo or other design that we or our tools make specially for you may be used freely by you after full payment, also outside the platform. For designs made with AI we cannot guarantee that they are unique or protected by copyright.
11. Other services: custom work, IT, installation and drawing
What we do, what it costs and when is set out in the quote or order confirmation. If we work by the hour, any stated duration is an estimate; we tell you in advance if it will clearly be exceeded.
We may have work carried out by regular partners. We then remain responsible towards you.
If we work at your location, you provide a safe, accessible workplace and the information we need. Make a backup of your data beforehand when we work on your computer or systems.
Delivered materials remain our property until everything has been paid.
We carry out electrical work according to the applicable standards. We do not work on gas installations (such as boilers, water heaters and flue systems); please use a certified company for that.
If you are a consumer, you always have your statutory rights if something was not delivered properly. Report a defect as soon as possible after you discover it.
12. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer and entered into an agreement with us online or at a distance, you may cancel it within 14 days without giving a reason (cooling-off period). The period starts on the day the agreement is formed; for the subscription that is the day of the first payment.
If you ask us to start during the cooling-off period (for example by paying straight away so your website stays online, or by having us schedule an appointment) and you then withdraw, you only pay for the part already provided up to the moment of withdrawal. If the service has been fully performed with your consent, the right of withdrawal for that service lapses.
We register a domain name specially for you and at your request. Costs of a domain name that has already been registered are therefore not refunded, as far as the law allows.
To withdraw, send us a clear message, for example by email. You may also use the government's model withdrawal form. We refund any amount you have overpaid within 14 days, using the same payment method you used.
13. Liability
If we are liable, this is limited to direct damage and to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event for the service concerned. For other services the maximum is the amount of the order concerned. If our insurance pays out more, that higher amount applies.
We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue, missed appointments, consequential damage or loss of data, nor for damage caused by outages at parties we have no control over (such as internet, hosting or payment services).
These limitations do not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, nor where the law does not allow them for consumers.
Report damage as soon as possible, and no later than 12 months after you discover it.
14. Cancellation and end
You can stop at any time: simply do not renew the subscription, or let us know that you want to stop. A period already paid is not refunded, except on withdrawal (article 12) or where the law provides otherwise.
We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice; you then get back the amount paid for the remaining period. In case of a serious or repeated breach of these terms (for example fraud or illegal content) we may stop immediately.
After the end you can ask us within 30 days for a copy of your content and the transfer code of your domain name. After that we delete your data within 90 days, except what the law requires us to keep longer (such as invoices, 7 years).
15. Force majeure
If we cannot deliver due to force majeure, for example outages at hosting or internet providers, cyber attacks, illness or government measures, we are not bound by our obligations for that time. If force majeure lasts longer than 60 days, both we and you may end the agreement, with a refund of what has not yet been delivered.
16. Complaints
Not satisfied? Let us know as soon as possible, with a short description. We respond within 14 days and look for a solution together with you. If we cannot resolve it together and you are a consumer, you can take the dispute to the competent court.
17. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We announce material changes at least 30 days in advance. They apply from the next period you pay for after that. If you do not agree, you can stop before the change takes effect.
18. Governing law
Dutch law applies to these terms and all agreements. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the district where Tradesite is established, unless the law gives a consumer the right to choose another court. If there is any difference between the Dutch and the English version, the Dutch version prevails.
